Caramel pumpkin coffee creamer (no added sugar)
Hello everyone! as the spooky season is coming to an end what a better way to wave it good bye with a pumpkin flavored coffee creamer! I mean is there a better way to enjoy this fall with anything pumpkin flavored? and while I do enjoy to buy my fall flavored coffee from different cafes, I also enjoy making my own pumpkin coffee in the comfort of my own home while saving a few dollars here and there that will be very much needed later for Christmas presents :)
The advantages to making your own homemade coffee creamers is that not only you will save money but also you have control of the ingredients and the exact amounts/ratios of flavoring that you like, in other words there will be no disappointments for that greatly anticipated first sip. It will be perfect every time because it is done exactly the way you like it! So let’s start with our beloved fall caramel pumpkin creamer:
INGREDIENTS:
Pumpkin puree 125 gr: The specific brand that I use is the HEB organics pumpkin 100% puree. This is my favorite since it has no added sugar, very flavorful and the perfect way to have control on the amount and f sweetness for your recipe.
Oat milk 240ml: oat milk goes perfectly with this recipe since pumpkin and oats are besties when it comes to fall flavors, not only they work together but in combination they give you the most comforting feeling. Once again make sure to buy the unsweetened version of your milk since with the next ingredient we will add the sweetness level that we want :)
Smucker’s Sunday Syrup Caramel Sugar Free 38gr: So this will be our magical ingredient that will give us the sweetness and caramel taste for our creamer I used just one portion and later compliment it with a little squeeze of stevia because I wanted a little more sweetness but not more caramel flavor but you are more than welcome to use more if you like if you’re a fan of caramel :)
Pumpkin pie spice: of course there will be no fall without our beloved Pumpkin pie spice, a little sprinkle will be enough to bring out those lovely notes on your creamer.
Cinnamon: and last but not least we couldn’t forget about our cinnamon, I just love the aromatic element and the extra kick it brings to all the recipes and our creamer will be no exception, just like the previous spice a little goes a long way, just a small sprinkle will do the trick. It’s the perfect cherry on the top for your wonderful coffee creamer :)
INSTRUCTIONS:
A little note before we begin, I personally reccomend using a mason glass jar for this recipe because of its easy double function as storage and puring capacities. Extra points if you can get your hands on those screw lids in will keep your creamer extra safe and fresh on the fridge, plus it looks fancy ;)
Pour your 125 gr of pumpkin puree and after that add your sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice on top of it. We are adding the spice right away as this will make it easier to incorporate it and mix it all together with the wet ingredients.
Secondly, add your 240 ml of oat milk into your mason jar glass
Next, add your sugar free caramel 38 grams and then carefully mix it all together. I like to go clockwise and then counter clockwise for better mixture.
Last but not least and this is totally optional, sprinkle your cinnamon powder on top and give it one last quick mix, put it into the fridge for a few hours as this will help to thicken your mixture to reach that rich creamy texture and voila! Enjoy your homemade caramel pumpkin creamer!
Hope you and your friends enjoy this easy recipe :)
Kindly,
