Fall Pumpkin Spice Latte (no sugar added)

There is no fall without experiencing a classic pumpkin spice latte, now imagine enjoying this latte without the worry about your refined sugar intake. With this super easy recipe it will only take you a couple of minutes to achieve you can indulge without worry and once you’ve taste it I have a feeling that you will make it more than once :) This quick recipe only need 5 ingredients or 6 if you want to add the optional vanilla syrup but as simple as it is don’t let it foul you the taste is like a warm autumn hug to your senses, also there is no fancy materials I only recommend to buy a small frother they are easy to find in almost every grocery store and not expensive at all I think its worth it for the time efficiency purposes but if not you can certainly froth your milk in a blender, or by swooshing it around in a closed jar. So enough about the frother lets get started!

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Instant single espresso: you can make this with 1 gram of Nescafé Gold Expresso Blonde or you can simply use your favorite instant coffee in a 1:1 ratio of coffee and water.

  2. Plant based milk (Oat milk): there are many options when it comes to plant based milk but my recommendation for this specific recipe would be oat milk. Something about pumpkin and oats go so well together and it makes sense to have them complementing each other on this delicious latte.

  3. Pumpkin!: when it comes to pumpkin purées I recommend going for the natural no sugar added option, this will give you the most time saving way to make your latte. However, if you have extra time in your hands you can always make your own fresh pumpkin purée and you will not regret the time invested :)

  4. Zero calorie brown sweetener blend: we cannot have this pumpkin latte without the classic companion of brown “sugar” and my current favorite one is the zero calorie brown sweetener blend from HEB this is perfect for sweetness with the brown sugar flavor but without the refined sugar and extra calories, but if you want to go extra fall with your flavor you can also use sugar free maple flavored syrup from Lakanto this will definitely satisfy your maple syrup autumn craving

  5. Pumpkin pie spice: this will be your little extra magic to your pumpkin latte, it will add that little extra aromatic spice completing all the fall flavors into your favorite cup :)

  6. Sugar free vanilla syrup (optional): if you would like to add a little extra vanilla notes to your drink you are definitely welcome to add just a little bit of sugar free vanilla syrup to this recipe, but if you don’t want to alter the pumpkin flavor then no vanilla is necessary.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Pour 75 grams of pumpkin purée to your glass or cup

  2. Next make your instant espresso with 2 oz of water and 1gr of instant Nespresso Gold or if you don’t have this particular brand you can also do it with your favorite instant coffee with 1 gram per 1 oz of water :)

  3. You can add your sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice so you can enhance all the flavors!

  4. After this put in the microwave your 120 ml of oat milk for one minute and froth it until you reach your fluffy consistency, then pour it into your glass and mix everything together

  5. Sweeten it to taste using sugar free maple syrup or my personal recommendation my favorite brown sugar blend :)

  6. Optional: you can add a little splash of sugar free vanilla syrup and top everything with a little more oat milk foam to finish it off with a little sprinkle of cinnamon and voila enjoy your pumpkin spice latte!
