Autumn Maple Creme Latte (sugar free)

So I might sound a little controversial with this initial statement but I was not a fan of maple syrup (I can hear the crowd boooing already) but hear me out this only served me as motivation to find the perfect maple latte recipe for this fall because I didn’t want to feel like I was missing out anymore and I also wanted to know what all the fuss was about. So, I’m happy to announce that boy I was mistaken, here comes my second statement: I have been converted to a maple latte lover! and this recipe is the responsible one for this fall miracle lol

INGREDIENTS:

Sugar free maple syrup 30 ml (or to taste): So maple syrup is widely used for breakfast goodies such as pancakes, waffles, oatmeal french toasts etc, but it has also become a staple for fall times because it goes well with other autumn flavors such as pumpkin spice and cinnamon :) The brand I used for this recipe in the Lakanto which has cinnamon notes in it and since I sprinkle cinnamon on everything these days it is extra convenient that this brand has this wonderful spice included and plus its sweetened with monkfruit, but you can definitely just get a pure sugar free maple syrup.

Oat milk 65 ml: Continuing with the same concept as to the good flavor pairings oatmeal and maple syrup are besties and so it would only make sense to make this recipe with oat milk.

Nescafé Gold Espresso Blonde 1 gr: So you guys know by this time that I like to pair this instant goodie with my lattes and this is no exception. After multiple tastings and found that the perfect balance for this recipe is to use 2 grams per serving/cup

Cinnamon: This last ingredient is optional I chose to add a little extra by sprinkling a tiny amount to the top of my frothed milk you know just to make it palatable picture perfect

Brown Sweetener blend (optional): If you like your drink on the sweeter side but not necessarily with extra maple flavor, the brown sweetener blend makes a perfect choice for this drink. It carefully adds the sweetness factor but it also enhances and blends flawlessly with the concept of maple fall flavors.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Make your instant espresso by mixing 1 gr of Nescafé Gold into 2 oz of hot water.

  2. In your cup put your 30ml of your sugar free maple syrup and pour your espresso shot as well to mix it all together, to achieve the creme consistency with the help of your hand frother mix it until color change and the fluffy texture starts to show.

  3. To make everything extra creamy, get your 65 ml of oat milk and put in the microwave for 1 minute. After that while still hot also froth your milk to enrich your drink with a silky texture.

  4. Lastly, slowly pour your milk into your instant espresso maple mixture and enjoy how your oat milk creates the perfect picture ready latte drink!

kindly, ♡
